Pom pom paradise
Sayulita is especially known for their colorful aesthetic. So, this was the perfect dress for this perfect town.
Ah, here we are in Pom Pom land ππ One of my new favorite places. So why the pom poms?
Going back to the traditional clothing worn by the Huicholes, the Mexican tribe native to Nayarit, these pom poms signify "the way" and their burst of color are a reiteration of roses in full bloom. "Their path is always filled with roses."
The whole town is covered in these balls of yarn and it's a beautiful site to experience. And why not do it, wearing them too?! π€ππΈ
How bout these 5$ glasses I snagged at a costume store in LA? ππ΄
Pom poms have a variety of uses: on clothes, purses, home decor and many more..
